About

Paribartan, a mass-based, secular, non-profit, non-governmental organization, made a modest beginning in 1988. At PARIBARTAN, we are committed to changing lives together for thousands of people by delivering need-based and issue-based development services that address their social, economic, and development needs. This is at the heart of why and how we work, driven by our commitment and responsibility towards all our beneficiaries and stakeholders with whom we are associated and partnered. PARIBARTAN’s strategic interventions and comprehensive development approach contribute to a positive societal impact through diverse community engagement initiatives.

We focus on indigenous and ultra-poor communities to create lasting, local change. We empower the most disadvantaged members of society to improve their own lives through better health, education, food and nutrition protection, sustainable livelihood, skill development, promotion of social ventures, biodiversity conservation, wildlife preservation, and humanitarian activities. The organization's name itself signifies "Change," and we firmly believe that unless and until we ourselves change, we cannot bring change to the community.

Paribartan abides by a set of policies, including the HR Policy, Child Protection Policy, Sexual Harassment Policy, Financial Policy, Procurement Policy, Equal Opportunity Policy, Ethics Strategy, and Protocol for Emergency Response. We also follow domain-wise Standard Operating Procedures while delivering services.
